In 2013, Hunter Yachts is celebrating its 40th birthday with a new vision and a new owner. Founded in 1973 by Warren Luhrs, a fourth-generation boat builder, Hunter Marine was purchased in 2012 by David Marlow who stated, “I believe I have bought the best boat company in America. One with a strong brand and great reputation.”
Now known as, Marlow-Hunter, proving life begins at 40. Their new models meld innovate technology and sturdy construction with classic designs befitting the company’s legacy.
