Hunter Marine Becomes Marlow- Yachts

In 2013, Hunter Yachts is celebrating its 40th birthday with a new vision and a new owner. Founded in 1973 by Warren Luhrs, a fourth-generation boat builder, Hunter Marine was purchased in 2012 by David Marlow who stated, “I believe I have bought the best boat company in America. One with a strong brand and great reputation.”

Now known as, Marlow-Hunter, proving life begins at 40. Their new models meld innovate technology and sturdy construction with classic designs befitting the company’s legacy. The Fiberglass Hunter 22 is the ultimate trailerable daysailer with a large cockpit which accommodates six.
