Retro Check is a very clean and well maintained pocket cabin cruiser that has been very well loved and cared for. She was originally a fresh water boat but was moved to San Diego and outfitted with a closed cooling system to protect and extend the life of her twin Crusader engines.
Carver has a reputation for making well built and affordable powerboat cabin cruisers, and today are known for their aft cabins in particular. This Carver 325 Aft Cabin is currently berthed at Harbor Island West in San Diego, and is currently owned by an airline pilot and his family. He has kept the boat in great shape and utilizes one of the better local yacht management companies to keep her looking and running well. Contrary to most aft cabins that are found in locations like San Diego, she is no dock princess. The current owners took her onto the bay frequently and are all seasoned boat handlers. She is remarkably clean for her age, especially considering the lack of covered storage in San Diego. He hull still looks great and doesn't show lots of evidence of sun damage. Molded fiberglass steps on the stern mean there is no need to clutter your dock with dock steps, and no need to squeeze through the side decks to get to the aft deck.
