Overview

1997 Jeanneau Lagoon 35 Catamaran For Sale in San Diego

For catamaran lovers and Jeanneau/Lagoon enthusiasts, Tomcat offers the benefits of a catamaran's performance, unbeatable cabin layout, huge saloon, but not the need for a special slip. Located in Mission Bay, San Diego this vessel has spent the last two years going through upgrades and customization for trips to Catalina.

She’ll do 7-8 knots to windward in 12-15 true. Her under-wing clearance is about 2’, so she will seldom smack the top of a wave. Solo or short-handed sailing is a snap because all of the sail controls lead to three self-tailing winches in the cockpit, lazy jacks manage the main, and the genoa is on a Profurl roller. The main is fully battened and has a good-sized roach. She steers like a dinghy, is faster than most monohull coastal cruisers, and has a very shoal draft for nosing onto the beach.

You can't beat a catamaran's layout. Tomcat features a very large saloon. It is like having a large family room to cook, entertain, and dine in. Perfect for a crew of four. There are plenty of windows to keep an eye on the horizon while underway. Off the Salon are two large Queen sizes berths with a head and shower forward of one, and a large custom-built workshop/garage forward of the other.

This vessel spent most of it's life in fresh water on Lake Tahoe for the summers, and then winterized and hauled out at the lake for the winters. The from 2013-2017 it sailed the Delta. From 2017 to now the vessel has been here in San Diego professional maintained and loved.
